In this section you can add the name interests that you are researching in the South Derbyshire area, you can also add a small description, if you wish, of the person, and/or the area where they originated from. Hopefully someone will find a link to the name's being researched and several connections will be made.

Thanks to your site I think I have found my grandmothers grave in Newhall St. Johns. Quite an emotional moment to find my Hannah Eames.
I am researching Eames (obviously) and links to Parker, Gilliver, Staley, Thornewill etc.
Particularly would like to know if William Arthur PArker who died 5.8.33 aged 19 'belongs' to anyone as I have a memorial I can scan for you complete with picture. Parents were Florence and Arthur William Parker.

Im looking for any info on these families from Albert Village;- Fox, Solomon, Haynes, Swales and any links to them also Halls from Bretby in 1830's but this may be Midway as the census says they lived in Gooths or Grotto row and is on the same page as Spring Farm and the Wheel Inn,both at Midway. Any help on the whereabouts of this address would be great.

My direct ancestor is Catherine Swain married to John Smith.
