Hi, I think that Mahalah Redfern was the younger sister of Mary Ann Redfern who married Joseph Gutteridge in 1886. Joseph was my g-grandpa's brother. I've traced James and Eliza to Worksop but can't find them in the 1891 census at the moment. I've also found that Eliza went back to Worksop area after James died. Cheers

Have managed to link Mahalah to Mary Ann. I've also gone back a little further up the Truman side.

Mahala was the daughter of James Redfern, bn. 1838 in Gresley, and Eliza Parker, bn. 1846 in Coalville. I have traced the Redferns back to the mid 18th century and can let you have any other details.
