Jane Piggin (nee Sharpe)

Hello there,
Trying to find information about my great grandmother Jane Piggin, born Jane Sharpe, 1858 Moira, married James Piggin 1878 and had four children, Mary, John, Thomas and Fanny. Jane died at Woodville in 1944, but lived in York Rd, Church Gresley around 1914. The 1861 census shows her living with Grandparents Henry and Elizabeth Kirk.

I have Jane Sharpe on my tree, she was the sister of my great grandmother. The Jane Sharpe you have found on the 1861 census is a different Jane Sharpe. Your Jane was with her parents John Sharpe and Mary (nee Beet) in 1861.

I also have Jane in my tree. Her father, John, is my 3x gt uncle. There were two Jane Sharpes listed in the BMD index. Jane Maria Sharpe born in 1858 and Jane Sharpe born in 1859. In the 1861 census Jane Sharpe 1858 was listed with her grandparents, Henry and Elizabeth Kirk (nee Grice). Jane Sharpe 1859 was listed with her parents John and Mary Sharpe (nee Beet). Mary's mother was also living with them.
